What’s Covered?

All GBC bikes come with a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery. This covers:

Manufacturing defects in the frame, fork, and core components

Battery issues (not caused by overcharging or leaving it in a sauna)

Motor faults (the legit ones, not “it’s slower uphill now”)

Controller and display defects

Structural failure due to material or craftsmanship issues

What’s Not Covered?

This is a quality warranty — not a “you launched it off a sand dune then gave it a hose-down of regret” warranty.

What's not covered:

  • Damage from crashes, collisions, stunts or “I thought it could make that jump.”
  • General wear and tear (brake pads, chains, tyres, grips — you ride it, they wear).
  • Any mods with third-party parts or unauthorised repairs.
  • Rust, fading, or cosmetic blemishes (ride it, don’t frame it).
  • Water damage from pressure washers, river crossings, storms, or your mate’s bright idea to “give it a quick blast with the gerni.”
  • Batteries not stored or charged properly (keep ’em cool, keep ’em dry).
  • Any modifications, rewires, or DIY hero jobs. Once you’ve opened it up, you’ve owned it. That includes swapping or fiddling with the battery, motor, controller, throttle, wiring, suspension, brakes, or any other electrical or mechanical part.
  • Third-party parts or accessories that weren’t built or approved by GBC — if it didn’t come from us (or one of our authorised partners), it’s on you.
  • Any repairs or tweaks by someone not authorised by GBC. All electrical components must stay sealed and untouched unless a GBC-approved tech has the tools.
  • Using your bike for anything outside its intended purpose — no freight hauling, stunt competitions, or beach burnout sessions. Ride it like it was designed to be ridden.
  • Any defects or damage caused by ignoring or going rogue on the owner’s manual or product guidance — we wrote it for a reason.
  • Products won as prizes or received through exclusive giveaways — these rides are special, but they don’t come with the full standard warranty.

In short:
Treat your ride with respect. Don’t drown it, fry it, or mod it into something it was never meant to be. Do that, and your warranty rides right out the door.

Warranty Conditions

To keep this warranty active, you’ll need to:

Keep your proof of purchase — screenshots don’t count unless they show the full transaction

Maintain your bike properly — we’re talking chain lube, tyre pressure, the usual grown-up stuff

Avoid dodgy repairs — DIY fixes with duct tape void this warranty faster than you can say “it’s fine”

Contact us before doing anything — if you spot an issue, stop riding and email us ASAP

What Happens If Something Fails?

Skip the back-and-forth emails and head straight to our online warranty form below.

Drop in your details, a quick description of the issue, and photos or video (bonus points for natural light — we love a good pic).

Once you hit submit, our crew will review it and get you rolling again fast.

We’ll assess it quickly and let you know the next step. That may be:

  • A part replacement (sent to your door)
  • Instructions for a local repair
  • A return for service or, in rare cases, a full replacement
  • In some cases, you may be asked to send the faulty part back to us first — fair’s fair.

Warranty Limitations (aka: The Boring Bit)

This warranty is non-transferable — it's valid only for the original owner

You must be in Australia (sorry, global fans — not yet)

The max liability of GBC is limited to the cost of the bike or component

We reserve the right to refuse warranty if the issue is clearly caused by misuse, abuse, or, honestly, pure chaos.

Final Word

We don’t want your bike to break — because that’s not how we roll. But if it does, and it’s on us, we’ll sort it fast and fair. That’s our promise.
