The Mullet Setup

The Sigma MX runs a larger 19″ front with a shorter 16″ rear — known as a “mullet” setup. That smaller rear wheel means a meatier tyre with more sidewall, which gives you better grip and cushioning on loose dirt, rocks, and MX tracks. The standard Sigma runs 19″ both ends for lower rolling resistance and a more balanced feel on sealed surfaces.

Gearing & Torque

The MX comes factory-equipped with a 44T sprocket versus the 39T on the standard. That bigger sprocket gives the MX more low-end grunt — easier to loft the front wheel over obstacles or power out of soft corners. The standard’s 39T allows for a higher top speed and a smoother, more relaxed cadence at cruising speeds.

Seat Height & Geometry

The MX’s smaller 16″ rear wheel lowers the rear profile slightly, making the bike feel more “flickable” in tight wood sections and technical switchbacks. Both bikes share the same heavy-duty aluminium alloy frame and fully adjustable air suspension.

98V Hairpin Motor

Both models share the same 23kW (31HP) 98V Hairpin motor with Samsung 50S cells in a 3,400Wh PowerPack. Fast-charge from 20–80% in just 2 hours. Same heart, different soul.

Which One Should You Choose?

Choose the Sigma if...

You plan on doing a mix of road riding, gravel paths, and general exploration. The 19/19 wheel setup is more versatile for dual-sport use — it rolls faster on sealed surfaces, holds a higher top speed, and feels balanced and predictable whether you’re commuting or hitting fire trails on the weekend.

Choose the Sigma MX if...

You’re a dedicated dirt rider. If your weekends are spent at the MX track or on steep, technical hill climbs, the extra torque from the 44T sprocket and the rear-wheel traction from the mullet setup are worth it. The MX is built to get rowdy — it rewards aggressive riding on loose, unpredictable surfaces.
